Chesser earns back-to-back Arrow Safety Player of the Game honors
Jacie Chesser continues her impressive freshman season with another double-double performance for Spalding women’s basketball propelling her to a third Arrow Safety Player of the Game honor.
Chesser earned her second-straight double-double with 11 points and 17 rebounds against the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) leading Webster Gorlocks.
Today marked the second consecutive game that the freshman from Lawrenceburg, Ky. set a new career-high rebounding mark. Chesser also notched a career-best three assists in the contest.
The Golden Eagles return to the friendly confines of Columbia Gym for the next two SLIAC matchups. SU plays host to Fontbonne on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. and Blackburn on Saturday at 1 p.m.
