Louisville – Councilwoman Donna Purvis (D-5) will host a District 5 Townhall meeting on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.

The meeting will provide an opportunity for residents, community leaders, and stakeholders to come together to share issues and concerns about the district.

This month’s topic for discussion will be odors in the west end. Representatives from MSD and Air Pollution Control District will be available to answer questions and concerns from the community.

“I’ve received numerous calls and emails regarding the ongoing smell that lingers in the district. I hope you’ll come out to learn more from the two agencies that monitor and control these issues,” said Councilwoman Purvis.

Representatives from the Louisville Affordable Housing Trust Fund’s Redline Mitigation program, REVERT (Restoring Each Viable Economically Redlined Territory) will also be in attendance to share information about their home improvement program.

The meeting will be held at the Shawnee Golf Course, located at 460 Northwestern Parkway (40212).
