Five student-athletes from the University of Louisville women’s basketball team were named to the 2026 All-Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Academic Team, according to an announcement on Apr. 21 by the conference.

The recognition highlights academic achievement among athletes who also contribute significantly on the court. The honorees are Reagan Bender, Elif Istanbulluoglu, Mackenly Randolph, Tajianna Roberts, and Anaya Hardy. Their majors range from sport administration and communication to business and mechanical engineering.

During the past fall semester, the Louisville women’s basketball team achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.33. Eleven team members earned Athletic Director Honor Roll status by maintaining at least a 3.0 GPA for the semester. Additionally, eleven athletes reached Red and Black scholar status with GPAs of 3.25 or higher in that period, while two student-athletes attained a perfect 4.0 GPA.

To be selected for the All-ACC Academic Team, student-athletes must have at least a 3.0-grade point average over their previous two semesters as well as a cumulative average of at least 3.0 throughout their academic career. They are also required to participate in at least half of their team’s games during the season.

The university’s representation on this year’s academic team reflects both athletic commitment and dedication in academics among its women’s basketball players.
