U.S. Representative Morgan McGarvey, who serves Kentucky’s 3rd district and resides in Louisville, addressed the public on November 5 and 6, 2025, through a series of posts about a recent tragedy in Louisville.
On November 5, McGarvey wrote: “We’re bringing the full resources of the federal government to bear on this tragedy. We’re working together at every level, and we all want to make sure that we get answers as quickly — and as accurately — as possible.”
In the early hours of November 6, he provided information for those seeking to assist: “If you’re looking for a way to help, here’s a good place to get started: https://t.co/SoVqv9ySVN”
Later that same morning, McGarvey acknowledged the difficult day for Louisville residents: “It’s been a rough day in Louisville today, and I know we all want answers as quickly and as accurately as possible. Hug your loved ones extra close tonight.”
