Rep. Morgan McGarvey, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Kentucky’s 3rd district, has been actively engaging with constituents through social media updates. His recent posts address key issues and community initiatives.

On May 5, 2025, Rep. McGarvey reminded his followers about upcoming changes to domestic travel regulations: “Do you have a Real ID? Starting May 7, you can’t fly domestically with only a standard driver’s license.” He provided a link for further information on obtaining the necessary identification.

The following day, May 6, he highlighted concerns regarding Social Security: “Social Security is under attack, but we’re fighting tooth and nail to protect it.” To address these concerns directly with constituents, he announced an upcoming town hall event featuring former Social Security Commissioner Martin O’Malley and State Senator Keturah Herron.

Later that same day, McGarvey celebrated local artistic talent by announcing the winner of this year’s Community Choice award: “I’m also excited to announce this year’s Community Choice Winner: ‘Unread Woman’ by Dallas Zulu.” The winning piece will be displayed in his Louisville office.
