Cost of college went up for all students at ATA College

Tuition and fees rose 12.8 percent for 2018-19 at ATA College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Kentucky students paid $13,025 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year – $1,480 more than the $11,545 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 28 students received grants or scholarships totaling $165,953 and 32 students took out student loans totaling more than $273,670.

Including all undergraduates (352), 247 students used grants or scholarships totaling $1.4 million, and 275 students took out $2.4 million in federal student loans.
