Winter Term at Jefferson is back! Take a look at what online classes you can take over break to help you get ahead! You can register in Self Service now by searching for “Winter 1.” Contact jf-advising-center@kctcs.edu for help.
The Winter Term is considered part of the Spring 2023 semester and counts toward the Spring Financial Aid and Credit Hour Enrollment. The Winter Term will begin on Monday, December 12, 2022 and end on Sunday, January 8, 2023 (28 Days). Because this is a short semester, work will be ongoing throughout the Winter Term at a quick pace.
TECHNOLOGY
Because the Winter Term is fully online, reliable internet connection, with an updated and functional computer, is essential to success. Relying on Mobile Devices (tablets and smartphones) are not recommended for these classes. Computer access on campus in the Learning Commons and Computer Labs will not be available after Friday, December 16 until Monday, January 2. Technical support will be provided by the Office of eLearning.
Webcams are a required technology for the Winter Term. Proctored exams will utilize Respondus, which uses personal webcams.
