Louisville – After an extremely successful first clean up effort last Saturday, Councilwoman Cindi Fowler (D-14) is once again inviting the community to help make a difference by joining her for the second District 14 Clean Up Blitz on Saturday, February 24, 2024.
The original clean up was scheduled for February 17, but has been postponed until Saturday, February 24. Volunteers will focus on the areas South of Johnsontown Road on Ashby, Orell, and other nearby littered areas.
“Our first clean up was a huge success, and we collected over sixty bags of trash! I hope you’ll join me on the 24th to continue the efforts in other parts of the district. Thanks for being a part of the solution!” said Councilwoman Fowler.
Volunteers should meet at 9:00 a.m. at Valley High School, located at 10200 Dixie Highway. All supplies will be provided by the District 14 office.
The clean up will be held weather permitting.
Please contact Councilwoman Fowler’s office at (502) 574-1114 or email cindi.fowler@louisvilleky.gov to sign up to volunteer!
