Morgan McGarvey, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Kentucky's 3rd district, has recently shared several updates on social media concerning his advocacy and political views. McGarvey, who took office in 2023 after serving in both the Kentucky House of Representatives and Senate, expressed his commitment to various causes through a series of tweets.

On January 24, 2025, McGarvey emphasized his dedication as a member of the House Gun Violence Prevention Task Force. He stated: "As a member of the @HouseGVP Task Force, I will always be an advocate for survivors and their families. I will never stop fighting for policies that keep our communities safe and uplift those who need our support the most."

Later that day, he addressed concerns regarding Louisville's consent decree with the Department of Justice. McGarvey tweeted: "The Department of Justice should not interfere in the process of finalizing Louisville's consent decree. Abandoning it now will set our city back and make everyone less safe."

On January 25, 2025, McGarvey criticized former President Donald Trump's pardons related to January 6th events: "When Donald Trump pardoned every single January 6th rioter — including violent offenders who assaulted Capitol Police — he made everyone less safe."
