Rep. Morgan McGarvey, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Kentucky's 3rd district since 2023, shared a series of statements on social media regarding various national issues. Known for his legal background and political experience, McGarvey replaced John Yarmuth and previously served in the Kentucky Senate and House of Representatives.

On January 29, 2025, Rep. McGarvey criticized actions that he described as "blatantly illegal," which he claims hinder the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). According to McGarvey, this paralysis benefits corporate interests at the expense of unions and workers' rights. He questioned, "So if it’s bad for unions and workers, who is it good for? Your boss’s boss and the corporations who funded Trump’s campaign."

The following day, January 30, 2025, McGarvey expressed condolences concerning a tragic event at DCA. He stated, "My heart breaks for those we lost in the devastating collision at DCA last night..." Additionally, he acknowledged the efforts of first responders during this difficult situation.

Later on January 30, Rep. McGarvey shared news about Ryan Corbett's release after being held hostage by the Taliban for 894 days. He mentioned meeting with Corbett's father to discuss their relief and gratitude upon his release: "We never gave up on getting him home, and now he's free."
