Louisville – The Louisville Metro Council Women’s Caucus will hold its final meeting of the year on Thursday, December 14, at 2:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in Metro Council Chambers, Historic City Hall, 601 West Jefferson Street.

The December meeting will welcome local community leaders and the current cohort of Louisville Girls Leadership for a special celebration of women leadership within our community.

During the meeting, Louisville Girls Leadership will provide a brief presentation highlighting their ongoing initiatives, including their collaboration with Louisville Metro Government. Followed by a short presentation by Deputy Mayor Barbara Sexton Smith.

Following the presentations, the formal meeting will adjourn to allow for a casual “mixer”. The mixer will provide an opportunity for aspiring leaders to engage in conversations with city leaders while enjoying cupcakes and refreshments.

All attendees are invited to embrace the Barbie theme by dressing up as iconic Barbie or Ken figures. Additionally, the caucus will be collecting new toys and games to be donated to local children in need this holiday season.
