Cost of college went up for all students at Paul Mitchell the School-Louisville

Tuition and fees rose 2 percent for 2018-19 at Paul Mitchell the School-Louisville, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Kentucky students paid $16,215 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year – $315 more than the $15,900 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 84 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 12 students received grants or scholarships totaling $56,235 and 20 students took out student loans totaling more than $155,831.

Including all undergraduates (154), 96 students used grants or scholarships totaling $391,911, and 122 students took out $956,131 in federal student loans.
