Men's golf preps for spring season with Florida trip

The Bellarmine men's golf team headed south during the winter offseason for a three-day training trip in Miramar Beach, Florida to help prepare the Knights for the upcoming spring season.

All 12 members of the 2022-23 Knights roster played in a 54-hole qualifier, with the first two days at Burnt Pine Country Club, ranked as one of the top 100 resort golf courses in the United States and called "the crown jewel of Florida golf" by Golf Magazine.

The final day of competition was held at the Raven Golf Club.

The Knights will open the spring portion of the 2022-23 season Feb. 10-11 at the Carpenter-Chaney Classic in Mims, Fla., hosted by Morehead State University at the Indian River Preserve golf course.
