 Career day for Ridener earns her Arrow Safety Player of the Game

Maelyn Ridener of Spalding women's basketball received her first Arrow Safety Player of the Game after having her best performance of the year.

Ridener scored a season-high 17 points against the visiting Blue Jays of Westminster, which was just one shy of her career best. 

The sophomore made three 3-pointers which tied her career high.

The Louisville native also tied her career high in field goals made with a total of five. She led all SU players in scoring in the contest.

Greenville hosts the Golden Eagles on Thursday in a SLIAC road tilt. Tip-off from Illinois is set for 6:30 p.m.
