Louisville  – The 38th Annual Bardstown Road Aglow is finally here! Join Councilman Ben Reno-Weber (D-8) on Saturday, December 2, for some holiday fun on Bardstown Road.

This is a great opportunity to officially start your holiday shopping in our local community. Stores and restaurants along Bardstown Road will be brimming with festive cheer, offering discounts, and creating a delightful holiday environment.

Here are some of the exciting highlights you can look forward to at Aglow:

  • Wendy’s Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony in Wendy’s parking lot, 1108 Bardstown Road at 6:00 p.m. Celebrations will begin at 5:30 p.m. Enjoy free hot chocolate and coffee, provided by Safai Coffee Shop and musical entertainment by Voices of Kentuckiana.
  • Free trolly rides along Bardstown Road, extending to Baxter and Barret Avenues and Douglass Loop.
  • Enjoy live holiday music between 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at several Highlands locations.
  • Take advantage of special discounts on food, beverages, and merchandise as you explore Bardstown Road.
The Bardstown Road Aglow is organized by the Highlands Commerce Guild and supported by Councilman Reno-Weber’s office, and dozens of local business sponsors.
