Louisville  – Councilman Phillip Baker (D-6) and the University of Louisville invite everyone to attend the second public meeting for the future of William B. Stansbury Park.

Located at 2302 S. 3rd Street, across from UofL’s Belknap Campus, Stansbury Park is an Olmsted Park and includes 7 acres of land. The park’s current amenities include a ballfield, basketball courts, multi-purpose field, playground, restrooms, sprayground and tennis courts.

“We’re interested in engaging with you and your neighbors about the future amenities in Stansbury Park. As an Olmsted Park located near the UofL campus, we have some great partners to make this improvement project impactful for the neighborhood and school. Please plan to attend this meeting to share your suggestions for the future of the park,” said Councilman Baker.

The public meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 12, from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Old Louisville Visitor and Neighborhood Center, 1340 S. 4th Street.
