Louisville  – Councilwoman Tammy Hawkins (D-1) invites the community to attend the next District 1 Community Meeting on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

At the meeting, representatives from Air Pollution Control District, Office for Housing and Development, Code Enforcement, and Louisville Metro Watch Dog Alliance will be available to provide information and address any questions or concerns from the community.

This month’s special guest is Kentucky State Senator Gerald A. Neal with District 33, who also serves at the Minority Floor Leader. Senator Neal will listen to the discussion and be available for questions and answers during the meeting.

“I believe community input is an essential part of my job. I encourage you and your neighbors to attend this meeting to share any issues or concerns you have for the district,” said Councilwoman Hawkins.

The meeting will be held at Southwick Community Center, located at 3621 Southern Avenue, and is scheduled to conclude at 8:00 p.m.
