86 percent of applicants to Bellarmine University were admitted for fall 2018

At Bellarmine University, 95 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 64 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Louisville enrolled 3,369 students in fall 2018, including 2,552 in undergraduate and 817 in graduate programs, data shows. 2.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

74 percent of undergraduates are residents of Kentucky, and 26 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (79 percent) and Black or African American (5 percent).

The school admitted 86 percent of the 5,535 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 14 percent enrolled.
