96 percent of applicants to Spalding University were admitted for fall 2018

At Spalding University, 75 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 68 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Louisville enrolled 1,758 students in fall 2018, including 1,028 in undergraduate and 730 in graduate programs, data shows. 8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

79 percent of undergraduates are residents of Kentucky, and 21 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (66 percent) and Black or African American (17 percent).

The school admitted 96 percent of the 839 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 24 percent enrolled.
