Cost of college went up for all students at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary

Tuition and fees rose 8.3 percent for 2018-19 at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Kentucky students paid $20,433 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,573 more than the $18,860 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 57 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 51 students received grants or scholarships totaling $78,500 and 37 students took out student loans totaling more than $451,688.

Including all undergraduates (4,121), 296 students used grants or scholarships totaling $436,055.
