15 percent of Spalding University students played sports on university teams in 2017-2018

In 2017-2018, 15 percent of Spalding University students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Spalding University has 1,028 undergraduate students, of which 68 percent are women and 32 percent are men, and a total student body of 1,758 students. Of these students, 147 men and 116 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 8.7 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Spalding University with the most participants are soccer (56), baseball (39) and track and field, outdoor (35).
