14.8 percent of Bellarmine University students played sports on university teams in 2017-2018

In 2017-2018, 14.8 percent of Bellarmine University students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Bellarmine University has 2,552 undergraduate students, of which 64 percent are women and 36 percent are men, and a total student body of 3,369 students. Of these students, 261 men and 236 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 8.7 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Bellarmine University with the most participants are all track combined (171), soccer (56) and lacrosse (49).
