Join Councilman Reno-Weber at an upcoming community budget meeting

Louisville – Councilman Ben Reno-Weber (D-8) will host three community engagement sessions for the public to talk about the proposed city budget.

The first public meeting is Coffee at the Bellwether and will be held on Thursday, June 8, from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. at The Bellwether Lounge, located at 1300 Bardstown Road. The second public meeting is Popsicles and Bubbles at the Park will be held on Saturday, June 10, from 2 – 3 p.m. at the Barringer Shelter in Cherokee Park. The third and final meeting is Drinks at Public House and will be held on Wednesday, June 14, from 5:30- 6:30 p.m. at the Public House, located at 1576 Bardstown Road. These community budget meetings will allow District 8 residents the opportunity to speak directly with Councilman Reno-Weber and share any comments or suggestions on the proposed budget for the Metro Council to consider.

"I look forward to meeting with you and hearing your thoughts on the proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal year. I encourage you to please reach out to me with your ideas and dreams for the future of District 8 and the city," said Councilman Reno-Weber.
