Councilwoman Purvis invites community to celebrate the Juice Bowl and Parade in Shawnee Park

Louisville – Councilwoman Donna Purvis (D-5) encourages the community to join her this Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 23, 2023, for the Annual Juice Bowl games and parade.

 

This year, a parade will kick off the festivities beginning at 9:00 a.m. and travel from Southwestern Parkway to Shawnee Park, 4501 W. Broadway. The parade will include local organizations and guest appearances.

 

The main attraction is the annual Juice Bowl games, which will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will include three games. Learn more about this year’s event online here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGXcFOK_jh0.

 

“This is a tradition you don’t want to miss! Bring your family out to watch the parade in the morning, and then meet us in Shawnee Park for some fun filled games and community before heading out to celebrate the holiday,” said Councilwoman Purvis.
