Rep. Morgan McGarvey, a public official known for his active engagement on social media, recently addressed several pressing issues through a series of tweets. His posts touched upon concerns related to veterans' benefits, community engagement, and Social Security.

On March 7, 2025, Rep. McGarvey raised an issue regarding financial misconduct affecting veterans. He stated: "Want to talk about waste, fraud, and abuse? Let's talk about the fact that predatory claim sharks are illegally siphoning HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of dollars from our veterans for a service that should be free."

Later that day, Rep. McGarvey announced his participation in an upcoming community event. He invited constituents to join him at the Café LOUIE Town Hall meeting scheduled for March 8 at the Northeast Regional Library. In his tweet, he said: "TOMORROW: I'll be at the Café LOUIE Town Hall at the Northeast Regional Library! Come by from 9-10 to ask your questions and join our conversation."

In another post on March 7, Rep. McGarvey expressed concerns about Social Security benefits and criticized wealthy individuals such as Donald Trump and Elon Musk. He tweeted: "Nearly 150,000 Louisvillians rely on Social Security. Billionaires like Donald Trump and Elon Musk will never understand what that's like. They'll keep lying and pretending they're not coming for your benefits, but they are, and we're fighting back."
