Morgan McGarvey, currently serving as a U.S. Congress member representing Kentucky’s 3rd district, has been vocal on social media about various issues. McGarvey succeeded John Yarmuth in 2023 and has a background in both the Kentucky House of Representatives and the Kentucky Senate.
On March 8, 2025, McGarvey expressed his commitment to progress made by women in history, stating: "Our country was — and continues to be — built by the achievements of courageous, resilient, and remarkable women. We’ve come a long way and there's more work to do. I will not sit by and let an administration of hate and bigotry undo centuries of progress — we will fight back."
Two days later, on March 10, he showed appreciation for community engagement at a recent event: "Thanks to everyone who came out to the Cafe LOUIE Town Hall this weekend! Always love the opportunity to hear directly from our community — I'll make sure your voices are heard back in DC."
Later that same day, McGarvey criticized decisions affecting veterans' businesses: "Trump's VA has cancelled $2 billion in contracts with small businesses — including those owned by veterans and service-disabled veterans. These veterans sacrificed for our country, and now their lives are being turned upside down. We're demanding answers."
