Rep. Morgan McGarvey, a U.S. Representative, has been vocal on various issues affecting veterans and trade policies through a series of tweets shared on March 6, 2025.

In a tweet posted at 16:18 UTC, Rep. McGarvey expressed concern over the firing of Tim Nicolazzi, a veteran who dedicated his life to service. "Tim Nicolazzi dedicated his life to service — a few weeks ago, he was fired. No notice, no severance, no compassion." The congressman announced his support for the Protect Veteran Jobs Act aimed at reinstating veterans like Nicolazzi who have been allegedly dismissed illegally by Elon Musk and DOGE.

Later that day at 18:46 UTC, Rep. McGarvey commented on the fluctuating nature of tariffs throughout the week. He questioned the consistency in policy decisions with "Monday: Tariffs ON Tuesday: Tariffs OFF Wednesday: Tariffs ON Thursday: Tariffs OFF Friday: ??? This is the art of the deal (?)" suggesting uncertainty in economic strategies.

At 20:45 UTC, Rep. McGarvey addressed concerns regarding predatory practices targeting veterans by for-profit claim companies lacking proper accreditation. He noted their inability to provide an explanation when questioned about their credentials with "Predatory, for-profit claim sharks are taking advantage of veterans with no accountability. I asked them point blank: why aren't you accredited? They couldn't answer."
